Podcast Pick of the Day - Digital Life TV

Digital Life TV
Episode 130
Run Time: 51:54

Hosted by tech aficionados Patrick Norton and Robert Herron, Digital Life TV (or DLTV) presents the newest and hottest trends, topics and gadgets in technology twice a week. This week they are at CES (Consumer Electronic Show) in Las Vegas, Nevada. This podcast is from day three of the show and featrues 40 new tech items such as protective cases for iPods, the iPhone, new HD TVs, the world's tiniest projector and a lot more.

Robert Herron is a HDTV guru, and his pick of the the best in show television got me researching. He said the SONY OLED TV possessed the best picture quality. OLED stands for Organic Light-Emitting Diode. The telvsions are ultra slim (width of 10mm or less) and have an insane contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. The televisons require no backlighting and are literally paper thin. Unfortuantely, they're still in the prototype stage, but show where the ultra slim, ultra high resolution technology is heading. Enjoy.
